When He Says “I Love You” Too Quickly

He stated “I really like you” on our third date. Is that this lust or love? – Julie, Hoboken, NJ

Be sincere: Do you assume the typical man would drop the L phrase so quickly? Actual love that quick is extremely unlikely, and you need to be cautious of a man who says he is fallen so shortly that it feels rushed and untimely. He is most likely both desperately in search of a relationship or saying what he thinks you need to hear to get you in mattress. He is clearly infatuated, however it might be a mistake to assume it is love.
